 As a former public school teacher, church musician, professional pianist and piano teacher, Chris brings wide range of experiences to Jordan’s music ministry. After his graduation from Mars Hill College (BM, 1997) he earned a Master of Music from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in 2000. Chris worked for eight years as a church musician and high school choral director in South Carolina and Texas until 2008. Chris moved back to his home state of North Carolina in the spring of 2008, and shortly thereafter followed God’s call to Jordan. Chris directs Sunday morning worship music and directs the Jordan Academy.
As Artistic Director and coordinator of keyboard studies for the Jordan Academy for the Performing Arts, Chris offers private piano instruction for students of all age and ability levels. In the near future, Chris will also begin offering keyboard masterclasses in the community for piano students and church musicians.
